"I’m hugely lucky in that I don’t face prejudice every day because of the colour of my skin. Because now I know that I don’t necessarily get seen as a threat because of my build, and now I know that the fears I have for my son are completely removed and different from the fears a black parent has in much of the world, and that now I know that my life has always been, until recently at least, almost invisibly (to me) easier because of skin colour. Because I want to learn more, and help where I can."
